The fryups at H's cafe are possibly the best hangover cure in the whole of Brighton. Seriously. The amount of times I've trecked up Coombe Road feeling little better than a corpse, only to return home an hour later mentally capable of running up Mount Everest, is, well, truely awe-inspiring. The cafe isn't much to look at, and they certainly won't be winning any awards for interior design anytime soon, but, the food is great and very cheap. Unfortunately its in a bad location, which is a shame, but if you ever happen to be in the Coombe Road area around breakfast time you should definitely try the food here. You won't be disappointed.

Went here for breakfast while visiting a friend who lived on Coombe, so the location was obviously very ideal and convenient. Of all the places we ate while in brighton, this was memorable. The staff were all super friendly and nice, since we were very obviously from across the pond... they explained some of the unfamiliar things on the menu (like "bubble"). It's very small but quaint and the food was all I needed. I don't need anything fancy for breakfast, and the breakfast sandwich was perfect for me. Simple, delicious, and cheap.
